History :-) Rick is responsible for
business management but to our surprise he has become an accomplished
Lapidary. He is responsible for our Opal cutting and Inlay work. Rick cut his
first cabochon way back in the seventies and the hobby has turned into a
profession. If you need any stones repaired or replace he would be happy to
help. In addition Rick is now running our rapid prototyping program where
your ideas are recreated with a CAD program and milled out of wax then cast
all in our facility. It’s fast, accurate and cost effective. Luis is our all around expert,
he is a wax carver and designer, creating original one of a kind jewelry
including an excellent array of Opal inlay rings and pendants and his work on
the bench is superior. Luis has been creating beautiful jewelry since he was
12 years old, this is his life long passion and he is really good at it. Tola is one of our best bench
jewelers with 15 years experience. With a fine eye for detail and a light
touch, Tola's finishing work is superb. Weather it’s a ring sizing or stone
setting Tola can do it quickly and safely so you can trust that your favorite
contemporary or antique jewelry will be cared for as if it were our own. Alex does everything else; he
works the counter, helps with jewelry repairs and is currently responsible
for all the casting. Needless to say he is very busy but never to busy to
help, if you have any questions he can be reached at alex@wenrics.com or give him a call during
business hours.
